"My life as a wildlife presenter can be pretty unpredictable. Take the time a rock in front of my canoe turned out to be a hippo, fully intent on biting the boat in half. And then there’s the weather. One minute you’re splashing through puddles in a freak storm, the next the clouds have parted, the sun’s blazing and there’s nothing for a dozen miles to spoil the view.
